The Princes Trust ‘Get into Construction’ Programme October 2016

EndeavourUK have spent the last week in Ipswich delivering training courses to young people as part of The Princes Trust ‘Get into Construction programme.

The young people have attended courses and gained qualifications in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment, Emergency First Aid at Work, Principles of Health & Safety at Work and Safe Moving & Handling. A very full-on, but enjoyable week!

Now they have completed the classroom training courses they will be spending some time at Otley College learning practical skills followed by a work experience placement. EndeavourUk will be be booking their HSE Operatives tests for them which will enable them to get a CSCS card to work on building sites.

***UPDATE 21/12/2016 – 7 YOUNG PEOPLE HAVE NOW PASSED THEIR HSE OPERATIVE TESTS AND HAVE THEIR CSCS CARDS. THEY ARE NOW STARTING NEW CAREERS IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY. ENDEAVOURUK WISH THEM ALL WELL.
